The Concept

Developed by Royal London Asset Management Limited, and designed by PLP Architecture, the Holborn Viaduct project is located in the heart of the City of London, close to St. Paul's Cathedral. The 13-storey building houses modern and sustainable offices, creating a workplace environment that is targeting BREEAM outstanding. Passive design principles inspired the facade's structure and detailing; the depth and shape of the 15,500 sqm (166,850 sq ft) façade which minimises solar gain whilst maximising natural daylight. Through the use of operable windows it also provides natural ventilation, focused on delivering sustainability credentials and well-being to the occupants.
