The new home for London College of Communication, UAL, designed by Allies and Morrison, is a 12-storey, dynamic building growing up as part of the Elephant & Castle Town Centre project. The new building features a bespoke curtain wall equipped with black patterned GRC panels that create a bespoke appearance. As well as providing the college with a flexible environment for its teaching it will accommodate extensive historic and cutting-edge technical facilities, publicly accessible exhibition and events space and the University’s archive, which holds the Stanley Kubrick Archive, as well as artifacts documenting the college's history in Elephant & Castle.
Design & engineering, manufacture, and installation of unitized curtain wall with black patterned GRC and motorized opening vents on 11 stories, for a total of 15,700 sqm (168,900 sq ft).
