The curtain wall system is designed to facilitate future glass replacement and cleaning as the mullion-and-transom frame’s form and cover can be removed from the inside. This means that when a pane of lite glass needs to be replaced, the cover is simply removed, the glass changed and the cover replaced. Each lite glass pane has been treated with ClearShield, a chemical compound that acts as a permanent self-cleaning surface barrier. The outside of the windows employs anodized aluminum decorations that reflect light and enhance external lighting effect at night. The multi-layer glass curtain wall improves air conditioning system efficiency and effectively prevents hot outside air from entering the building; moreover, it also provides the needed internal heat distribution, thus ensuring efficient use of energy and resources.
