Permasteelisa France and Gartner, will clad the new Servier Pharmaceutical Research Centre in Paris-Saclay with a design façade made of two-dimensionally corrugated laminated safety glass, featuring a curved glass façade with 3,584 sqm (38,578 sq ft) and a double-skin façade with 4,021 sqm (43,282 sq ft); 3,750 sqm (40,365 sq ft) of which will be a closed cavity façade (CCF). Hot-bent glazing in a small radius conveys a wave form to the 21 m (69 ft) high ring-shaped building. For this first mfree-SCCF (Moisture Free, Sustainable, Closed Cavity Façade) in France, aluminum modules are integrated in the façade cavity, reminiscent of pharmacist shelves and serving as sun and glare protection. The CCF units alternate with façade units featuring tilt-turn windows and smoke vents. As of 2022, the first employees of the Servier pharmaceutical Group are expected to move into this campus which is composed of six buildings with a capacity of 800 people.
