Nile Street is a mixed use, high-quality development that meets the latest design and quality standards; it is located in the heart of Shoreditch, in the historic East End of London and within the London Borough of Hackney. Avanti Architects designed the regeneration project of the existing school buildings at the Regents College site which were no longer fit for purpose. The project comprises a 7-story residential block facing Nile Street plus a 29-story tower and a new PRU school in a 2-story podium located in the North East corner of the site.

The complex features 175 new residential homes, with residents facilities, sports facilities and commercial spaces. Furthermore, the scheme includes extensive improvements to the public spaces surrounding the area. It aims to achieve an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM rating.
10,500 sqm (113,000 sq ft) of unitized curtain wall for the residential tower and 5,000 sqm (53,800 sq ft) of stick system curtain wall for the mixed-use podium (school/residential/commercial).
