Edificio AA81 is located on Avenida de América, on the northeastern edge of central Madrid. It is a major rehabilitation project which transformed an obsolete structure into a sustainable and eco-friendly, modern office building. The complex provides approximately 21,200 sqm (228,200 sq ft) of commercial space distributed in five floors along with almost 500 parking spaces on the below ground levels. The building features the Active Wall^® façade system, which not only maximizes natural lighting but also guarantees the highest thermos-acoustic performances. Edificio AA81 is one of the few buildings in Europe to achieve the LEED Platinum^® certification. The project achieved the Spanish Offices Association 'Modelo AEO (Asociación Española de Oficinas) para la Clasificación Técnica de Edificios de Oficinas^®' A+ rating.
