The North American arm of Permasteelisa Group, the global leader in the design, construction and installation of technically advanced building envelopes, has announced the appointment of Melissa Schwartz as Vice President, Finance, with effect from today (July 15th, 2024).
Melissa is an accomplished finance executive. She started her career with Tishman Construction as a construction risk analyst before transitioning to a finance role, launching a financial planning and analysis function, and eventually becoming VP of Finance for AECOM's $8.5B construction business.
Melissa spent the last five years of her career as a COO/CFO of a start-up scaffolding company and interim CFO of the largest union electrical contractor in NYC. She holds a B.S. in Construction Management and an M.S. Management from the University of Florida. She also has an MBA from NYU's Stern School of Business, which she was awarded in 2018.
As Vice President, Finance, for Permasteelisa North America, Melissa will lead all finance activities within the business unit. Her role will involve bringing her operationally focused finance skill set to the organization in support of its key strategic priorities. She will report to Sandip Mahajan, Permasteelisa Group’s Chief Financial Officer.
